Event Overview: The 3rd African Cultural Celebration 2027 will take place in October 2027 at Porchester Hall (London). This flagship festival of African and diaspora culture features live music, dance, art installations, fashion, and food booths representing traditions from Africa as well as the Brazilian, Jamaican, and Barbadian diasporas. Organized by community leaders and creative enthusiasts, the celebration “brings people together to honour tradition, inspire connection, and uplift voices across the African diaspora”. The timing aligns with UK Black History Month (October) and African Food Day, maximizing cultural relevance and visibility.

Charitable Mission: All proceeds benefit Solace Ministries, a Rwandan charity supporting genocide survivors, widows and orphans. Solace’s vision is “to comfort widows and orphans” through a holistic approach that includes counselling, childcare, health programs and vocational training. By celebrating heritage and giving back, the event embodies a mission of compassion and community care, directly supporting Solace’s work.
